1) Mailhandler Harold Calder attended todays meeting. Mr Calder stated that incoming Fed-Ex cans are not being properly loaded or t-stacked correctly.The Committee has agreed that an ergonomic evaluation should be performed by the proper authorities.For the time being a service talk will be given and an OJTI will observe and train or retrain all of the Mailhandlers involved.
2 and 3) The facility's boundries are in very poor shape. Management has stated that, the buildings master plan has yet to be determined.
Lee Anne has stated that once the proper maintenance employee has been determined said employee will tape or paint our facilitys most dangerous intersections asap.
4) Maintenance has ordered a mirror for the O-2 pole area.
5) The ongoing 1767 issue has been addressed and Senior MDO Lee Anne Dufrense will handle any discrepecies.
6) Managements energy policy for keeping the facility's dock doors closed was once again discussed.This facility has had this problem on record since 2003. Management should enforce this issue every employee has an obligation to follow postal rules, use good common sense and during these hard economic times do the right thing.
7) Maintenance has stated that the worn out step devices will be repaired asap.
8) Management wishes to be notified immediately whenever the sweep buttons on the apps machine are not working properly.
9) At this time management is unsure when our next executive council meeting is, We would like some correspondence from our District Safety Manager regarding this situation.
10) Randy Patrick has been inspecting and replacing the emergency air-horns as needed also the committee has recommended a service talk to properly use
the airhorns.

11) The L & DC Clerk Craft has asked for our assistance and once again the committee has come through. Our facility has several different lifts or electric jacks to assist our distribution clerks to expeditously process the cell mail.
